Hibiscus grow thoughout Hawaii. I had several growning outside my Kona Paradise home, but when I moved to Captain Cook, although there were a mirad of other plants on my property and across the road, there were no Hibiscus or Plumeria. I planted a couple of these plants in my backyard. They can be seen in a variety of colors along the roads in Hawaii. Red, pink, white and yellow are just a few of the colors. Many have very interesting contrasting throat colors and patterns. The picture shown of this flower shown above is the way I painted it. But I discovered that it looks pretty good at any rotation.
