Fountain Shaped Macaw Vase

This vase is in The Gallery - Hilton
on the Kona side of the Big Island of Hawaii

Unfortuanately, I recently learned (in October 2006) that this vase was a casualty of the earthquake that occurred in Hawaii on Sunday, October 15, 2006.  It was on display in the Gallery - Hilton, in the Hilton Hotel, Waikaloa, and is now in a few pieces.  The Director of the Gallery said that it may have few enough pieces that it can be glued back together.  If so, I will try to reassemble it for use as an example (for my students).  If I can't reassemble it, then I will save the pieces for use in any future mosaic work I might wish to do.
